Ransom Witt Loftis, MD, MPH

Dr. Ransom W. Loftis earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Dr. Loftis earned a BS in Biology and a BA in Chemistry from East Carolina University.

Dr. Loftis is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional interests include adolescent gynecology, a passion for contraceptive choices, high risk obstetrics and being an advocate for women’s health. Dr. Loftis is also involved in community organizations such as Ducks Unlimited and Coastal Conservation Association of North Carolina, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Greenville Community Shelter Clinic. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Dr. Loftis enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and paddle boarding. In her spare time, she can also be found riding her horse Cory. Dr. Loftis is married to her husband Mickey, they have two sons, Ran and Witt, and two Labrador retrievers, Hank and Cody.
