Andrea is a native of eastern North Carolina and attended East Carolina University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for ten years before obtaining her master’s in nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2018. Since then, she has been a nurse practitioner, providing emergency and outpatient acute care.

Prior to embarking on her nursing career, Andrea obtained a bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services from ECU – an experience she credits as fostering her interest in health education and promotion. Andrea maintains active certifications from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing. She has always been interested in women’s health and is excited to join the Magnolia Place team.

Away from medicine, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, baking, gardening, DIY projects, traveling, and cheering on her ECU Pirates. She lives in Greenville with her husband and young daughter.
