Jennifer Harrup is a proud Pirate and mother of two boys. She received her MS degree in Substance Abuse Counseling / Clinical Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from East Carolina University in 2006. For the last 19 years, she has managed mental health services and provided therapy services as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor (LCMHCS). She is also licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). She enjoys giving back to her vocation and mentoring budding therapist as a certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS).

Ms. Harrup uses an individualized approach to counseling and has served a diverse population. She currently serves as the Mental Health director at Magnolia Place where she provides mental health care to the women and families of our community. In addition to therapy, you can find her on a Pilates mat as she recently received her Pilates instructor certification and incorporates Pilates into our mental health program. She believes in providing a supportive environment to learn to verbalize that which we feel and movement to help us process the emotions to feel and function our best.
