Judy Coogan is a family nurse practitioner with more than 42 years of experience in healthcare. She has worked in various settings to improve the health of Eastern Carolinians including Pitt Memorial Hospital, Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center and Urgent Care.

She holds a BSN and MSN-FNP from ECU College of Nursing. She has been married to her husband Michael for over 30 years and together they have 3 adult children and 2 granddaughters.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to California to visit her daughter, visiting with local family, kayaking on the Pamlico River and taking Pilates classes.
